Gardening Dreams

The weather for central Texas has been amazing the last few weeks and I have been itching to plant in the garden.  I know it's still to early to plant most stuff, as there's still a slight chance we'll get another freeze this season.  I've spent the last couple weekends working in the garden, prepping and getting everything cleaned up.  I still have stuff I am harvesting from the fall, so I haven't been able to get in and till the beds yet, but I'm OK with that since it means we are still eating fresh veggies daily!!  See some pics from over the last couple weeks!

Chard, spinach, brussel sprouts, and eggs

Cabbage, still growing, have not picked this one yet

Purple Cauliflower, brussel sprouts and broccoli

Purple cauliflower as big as Whitney's head

I have been working on a garden binder, utilizing different resources and templates I found online.  I never thought I would have so much fun going through the seed catalogs and placing my orders.  Now I can't wait until they get here.  Today I'm gonna head over the The Natural Gardner and pick up some veggie plants to put in this weekend.  I'll take some pictures of the full garden and post soon.
